Burnham Business Awards

The Labyrinth Project
With the journey the whole world is now taking in regards to Covid-19, we would like to build a Labyrinth, created by the residents in Burnham, to stand as a memory for years to come and to remind future generations of what Burnham and the rest of the World went through.
Medical equipment for Burnham Health Centre
Covid and shielding may have changed forever the wsay GPs monitor the health of clinically vulnerable patients. Burnham Resilience purchased blood pressure monitors, oxygen saturation monitors and thermometers that the GPs can donate to patients who need regular remote monitoring and are unable to purchase the equipment themselves
Helping schools provide mental health support
When Covid-19 caused many school children to be sent home few people were ready. Everyone coped with the extended lock-down differently but it affected pupils in ways that few understand. Burnham Resilience has worked closely with the local schools to purchase targeted learning-through-play equipment selected by the teachers that will help pupils both catch up on core skills and explore how they were impacted, to enable the schools to provide the support that so many children will need.
Just Say Hi
The aim of the ‘Just Say Hi’ project is to enthuse residents of Burnham to get in contact with their neighbours and other people in their street to help anyone who may be struggling during Covid-19.
